Getting back on track

I have been neglecting my blog for so long today I decided to add a couple pictures of my current projects  as a personal diary. This sampler is Ann Uffindell. Put out by Hands Across The Sea. My goal is to have her completed before the end of May when I will start another HATS design as part of a SAL (stitch - a - long ).  Watching FLOSS TUBE has encouraged me so much on doing samplers and other cross stitch projects it truly shows the power of that medium.

Not only have I been working on the cross stitch projects, but I've finally been pushing myself to complete a paint by number project started over a year ago.

Along with all this, I'm picking up my knitting again, Lord help me!

Rainy Day

As I wait for Lily to get out of school, the rain is a comin' down and a perfect opportunity to test out
my long neglected camera, I've been wanting to get more posts on my blog to catch up on progress of quilts ( although not much has been happening there) and my Cross Stitching ( same story with that too). I thought if I started setting some goals on my crafts and posting progress I'd be giving myself a little push, so here goes! Camera test done!

Christmas is just around the corner

Starting a new blog not so fun - I need to test a few things out, so MERRY CHRISTMAS!
This is an old image of my youngest son, who is now probably not too happy with mom for sharing it with the world...
Clue number 1, 2, and 3 have been posted and I've just recieved my TRI-RECS rulers to get me going on this new mystery! I've been away from my sewing machine for months due to a slip on the ice last winter that made it pretty painful to sit with my leg in any other position other than propped up if I wasn't walking around. I've been looking forward to this mystery AND getting back to finish all the other projects I had going!
